Search For Life is a course for any one who has ever wondered what is the reason for my existence?  How do I find purpose and significance?  Tools to help you handle and understand human tensions; how to overcome low self esteem, anxiety, the cycle of addiction and the approval addict, how to cope with grief, loss and many more topics.  All participants receive their own personal manual to refer to and reflect on.  The course is a combination of dvd / facilitator teaching then breaking into small groups for support group therapy and processing.

This has been a fantastic success with not only generating funds to assist Hope4Life in purchasing fresh new course materials but also having a positive spin off for the artists involved who donated their artworks for the calandar.   Because of the Hope4Life art calandar it was seen by another local artist (not connected with Hope4Life or Elim Cathedral of Hope), and our artists have been approached to exhibit their work along with many other well known artists at a exhibition raising money for Haiti earthquake victims.

Calandar sales have helped purchase training materials for facilitators who are currently under going extensive training.  The new courses will be open to the public around Term 3, 18th July 2010. 

This fundraising calandar is available for $25.00 with the proceeds going towards purchasing new course materials and resources for 2010.

Shortly a brand new range of life courses will be unveiled for 2010.  We are in the final stages of securing life programmes which will cover a diverse range of real issues that ordinary people face and struggle with everyday.  

We are excited that these courses which will soon be offered have been written by a range of highly qualified counsellors and psychiatry professionals and will be dealing with many of todays common issues such as marriage dysfunction, separation, divorce, performance orientation, addiction, insecurity, self rejection, grief, chemical dependency, sexual abuse, sexual addiction, eating disorders and more.

These courses will be run by a trained counsellor and trained facilitators to enable participants to learn the skills necessary to bring healing and empower them to help others all in a caring, supportive, confidential and safe environment.
